Do your doctors know that you are pregnant? If so, they'll have you on antibiotics that are safe.
I had several UTIs and a kidney infection while pregnant.
No, it's not ideal, but your baby will probably be okay. Rest up, and keep in communication with your doctor(s).
If you were on antibiotics before you knew you were pregnant, or if your doctor didn't know, then this is something you need to bring up asap.
To set your mind at ease, talk with your doctor.

Your baby is very protected right now!!!! If this offers a little comfort I had kidney stones and infection in my kidneys peeing straight blood at 7 months prego and my little girl is great and now 6 years old:))

I have taken care of pregnant ladies with Urinary infections with high fever and IV meds. They come back in several months to deliver a healthy baby.

if your doctor knows that you are pregnant, than the medicine that he is giving you shouldnt harm the baby, you could always ring him and double check that the medicine isnt going to hurt the baby. good luck and try not to stress. hope all gpes well

don't worry antibiotic will cure infection,maybe pass through placenta,will not harm bub,don't be scared all will come out well in the end.bed rest is probably to help you settle

I am 6 months prego and i had an infection and my doctor had me on antibiotics and my baby is fine all i did is pray so all this medication will not affect my baby.so pray and god bless you.

the dotor wouldnt give u somethg to hurt the baby so stop stress coz alot of stress can lead to hurtin ur baby
