I do... well with my mother at least. She is the best person I know, I can't think of a better role model, or someone I am more proud of. Do you have a good relationship with your folks? Are you proud of them? Do you look up to them and respect them?

I love my mom, I'm so proud of her and all she did to raise me. I love my dad, we were close until I was nine, then he left. I never saw him after that until a few a years ago. I avoided him for a long time and a friend convinced me to try to restore the relationship. I'm still trying and its getting better. He had a stroke right before Christmas and was all alone. I cried. I knew at that moment that I really do love him, I just wish I knew him more.

Well not that you can tell by my avatar, but im a female. I have never, despite wanting to had a good relationship with my mother. I have always looked up to my father and hes always been there for me. I would be lost without him. Me and my Mother are to much alike and clash in a major way.

I like to think I have a good relationship with them! As hard as they were on me in the past, I deserved it and I'm nothing but a good kid now because of them, They are extremely inspirational too!

I have a wonderful relationship with both my parents. When I was in my teens, i was very rebellious and my mother wanted to control my every move so our relationship became sour for a while.

I am starting to...when I was younger I thought they were the devils spawns and super mean but now I see it was all for my own good, so I'm starting to develop a better relationship with them both.

With my mom, she's my best friend. Can talk to her about anything, has always been there for me, even when I was the typical rebellious teen and wouldn't speak to her because I thought she was weird. Now I know that I was the weird one. With my step-dad, its ok, was better when I was little and thought he was the greatest. But he was so controlling and made it hard to ever forgive him for certain things.
