the answer to this question is very simple.
you just have to multiply the fraction with 100 and then write the answer in percentage.
for example:3/4*100=3*25=75
therefore,3/4 is 75%.

Change the bottom line into 100:-
3/4 = 75/100= 75%
1/2 = 50/100 = 50%
4/25 = 16/100 = 16%
5/20 = 25/100 = 25%
etc

per cent means for every 100 (derived from the word cent);

100% means 100 for every 100 or 100/100 = 1
therefore, any percentage less than 100% is actually less than 1

200% means 200 for every 100 or 200/100 = 2
any percentage more than 100% is greater than 1

since 100% =1 and since 1 is the multiple identity, which means any number multiplied by 1 remains the same.

in other words, you just multiply a number by 100%. in doing so, the value does not change but rather only the form changed.

now, more samples:
1/2 = 0.50 = 50%
3/4 = 0.75 = 75%
2/3 = 0.67 = 67%
5/4 = 1.25 = 125%
5/2 = 2.50 = 250%

so if you get a 10% discount on your purchase of say a pizza worth $8, you are actually paying only 90% [100-10] or $7.20, and saved 80 cents which is 10% of $8

hope i did not get too far
