work out this problem..
1. There are numbers 1, 4, 9, 16..... derive the formula for this sequence and also find fifth and sixth terms..

The interval increases by 2 between terms.

The interval is 3, then 5, then 7; so the next terms have to be intervals of 9 and 11.

ANS : an = n^2

1^2 = 1
2^2 = 4
3^2 = 9
4^2 = 16
5^2 = 25
6^2 = 36

ANS : 25 and 36

looks like squares...1 squared, 2 squared, etc.
next is 25, 36
