sadly i agree with you. although i do support our men and women over there, i do not support the reason(s) they are there.
the US was lied to and told many different reasons as to why our troops are in iraq. ok sure saddham is gone but whose to say that someone else won't take his place?
weren't our troops supposed to be home years ago?

I admit it is strange being in the lead, in the two big wars before, the US was a late comer.
But, at the same time, you have the dynamics backwards. The middle east has the oil as revenue and as a leveler, and uses terrorism at the same time to achieve a global supremecy where as before they had none.
What do we have that they want besides our revenue?
The oil will come and go as the market bears, but terrorism is something we can try to do something about.

Charismatic leaders can talk people into almost anything.
Hitler was a great orator and with that skill he talked his people into accepting one of the most heinous acts in history.
Bush, on the other hand, is a clumsy, stuttering IDIOT and he managed to convince the American people to agree to this latest crime against humanity...
Sadly, this doesn't say much for the average American...
Don't get me wrong! I LIKE Americans and America. I'm just worried that the decades-long operation by their government to dull their senses has actually worked.
They've been placated and fattened up. Given shiny things to distract them. Made stupid by banal, brain-numbing television. Have been 'educated' on fabricated news and kept ignorant about the outside world – you can see and hear the walls going up around them! Fanatical zealots drunk and arrogant on their own power!
They are being fooled by power-hungry, evil men and they are dragging all of us into an uglier world than anyone could ever have imagined!
The most powerful nation on Earth – the most ignorant! That's SCARY!!! That's DANGEROUS!!!
A few tribesmen armed with 'sticks and stones' is the LEAST of our worries...
Fearful times, man...

To me this war on terror is nothing more than attempting to sustain the emotional response to 9/11. When emotions get involved there are no clear and reasonable conclusions.

You already DO. -You sense something has gone terribly WRONG in this country, so you KNOW that "Uncle Sam" has messed up. Talk to people about it; and if you can vote in next years Election- DO IT. Uncle Sam LISTENS to voters.

It's not Uncle Sam you have to wonder about. However when it comes to Hitlers brother George Bush You need to open your eyes and wonder what's next where he is concerned!

Just think whatever the president tells you to think. That's why hes there, so we don't have to be burdened with it ourselves
