Was your sister afraid before these child molesters moved into the neighborhood. Are there any Catholic Churches in your neighborhood? If there are, chances are there were already child molesters in your neighborhood (I had to get on the soapbox-Sorry, but these are the worst of the worst. Just because they preach day after day about goodness and the "Right" way to live and then commit the most heinous of crimes). That said, I wouldn't be comfortable with child molesters in my neighborhood because numerous studies have been conducted and determined that these are some of the most difficult criminals to rehabilitate and they generally repeat their crime. That said the way society is going it seems every neighborhood probably has at least one, and if you find a neighborhood that has none by the time you sell your current home and close on the new house a child molester may close on the house, right next door (Go figure) The best thing for your sister to do is keep a very close eye on her children, be very involved as a parent. That said I think their may be a vicious cycle out there now where children are being trained to not trust anyone ("Strangers") by over-protective parents, creating very isolated people. Be cautious, not cooky, there are still a lot, LOT, of Good and great people out there, but they don't have a FBI list of "Good People" in your neighborhood and people who interact in wholesome ways (Men and Women) every day and help parents raise well adjusted children don't make the Daily News.

If they havent been caught and arent on your local registry just go door to door to every house in your neighborhood and ask are you a child molester?
