what would be the best song that captures the sixties and was made in the sixties? i know elvis and the beach boys and the beatles and such were great, but for my project, i really need a song that captures the whole sixites scene and was made then.

Although really there's almost two sixties cultures- the "peace, love dope" movement and the the radical "fight the man, fight the system" culture that was anything but peaceful and loving.

Those songs I suggested belong to the first group: I've no suggestions about the second.
