because my brain gets in the way. If my heart is broken I am hurt and depressed. when I think about it, I feel like a fool for opening up. when I stop thinking I can appreciate the beggining and the end, then thank God for the opportunity to share his love.

We always tend to look back at a ruined relationship and feel we should have seen the signs prior to the break-up. Hence, the feeling that we're fools for not seeing said signs. Good Luck....

I think it is because you believe you have it all together and know everything you need to know and of course that is bogus, but doesn't stop you from being delusional.

Then, when harsh reality slaps you in the face, you realize what a fool you were.

Because you get mad at yourself for letting yourself be vulnerable to love. You give yourself to someone, love that person and when they break your heart it hurts physically and emotionally you want to scream that you were a fool to have let yourself get attached. The question is if you never do, and you let the right one go that is what I think is foolish.

I tend to feel foolish because (usually, or at least, of late) the answers and information were all there right under my fingertips, but I chose to blithely ignore them.

The feeling is kind of like walking naked through the frozen section of the grocery: people notice, comment... and reactions that are usually kept under wraps are exposed for all to see. It makes me feel void of common sense... after all... walking naked through the grocery? Kind of have to expect the reactions you get!

(And I REALLY HATE "I told you so's"

Usually because we feel like we allowed this to happen to us, that we should have been smarter, that we must have been the ones that did something wrong.
