Pictures, journal, scrap books, newspaper clippings, letters, etc. I favor pictures since you can simply look at it and remember. I also like to write in my journal which tells me what I liked the most since I wrote the thing. Hopefully my Daughter will understand that when she finds it after my death and it will be preserved in my own hand for her and generations to come. Good question!!!!

I love pictures, especially if they are put in albums & I also love to read things that I, or someone else, wrote in the past. To be able to read how things were as they happened, with all the details is fasinating to me. Like in a letter or a journal. I also like time capsels, we made one when we moved into our brand new house.

i haven't done it but i think a journal or a diary is a great way. a friend of mine has done it since she was 12 she is now 33 and can go back to any day and check out what she was up too. she has also included tickets, brochures any souvenirs and sometimes photos from where she was and stuck them in.
I wish i had done it! i havent seen it as its just for her eyes but it sounds great

hey lol i think pictures because..they last forever and just by looking at them they take you back..if you get me
But journals are also good because pictures cant tell you how you felt that day..or what was going on...they smiply just capture a moment!
