question about ghosts that makes no sense to me!?

Question

I can see ghosts and spirits, i have been able to sense them and see them for quite some time. there is even photographic evidence where i have said "there is something over there" and made someone take a picture, then some eerie **** showed up on film. none of that scares me since i have lived with it for so long, i can go into supposedly haunted places with no issues....however, when i watch shows on tv about haunted locations, they scare the crap out of me, even if the story behind the haunting isnt scary at all....what is with that? anybody have any explinations?
