She was laughing at my jokes, but she was on a date. We started talking, and kind of forgot about her date. I sat down and we kept talking over candlelight. I was fired on the spot.

Weirdly enough, her boyfriend went to the counter when we were talking and applied for a job. He got it right away, and he took our order. My question is, shouldn't the guy who started the date pay for the date?

Aren't you asking for too much? If you get the girl, you get the bill! ;-)

Well, who ended up paying? What kind of restaurant could this be if they're hiring in the evening during the dinner crowd? If this story is true, you should've slipped her your number and went from there, sounds like you've got yourself a winner if she'll entertain another man while she's on a date w/another! Sound's like ya'll are meant 4 each other!

If you ate you should pay. You and the boyfriend can split her meal.

Very cool move. You may want to look for another career, however. Possibly standup comedy.

I think the both of you should go to the bathroom and crawl out the window, that way no one has to pay.

That is a little far fetched to believe.
