Make these last 6 months the most enjoyable time ever. I am so sorry to hear this is happening to her. I'm 17 and I can't imagine a doctor telling me my life was almost over. I would prob travel to Australia cuz I have always wanted to go. Spend lots of time with my friends and try to get as much out of life as I could. I hope a miracle will happen for this girl.

If I had 6 months to live I would want to go back to my mom's home country of Panama to visit and also the countryside of New York or some place like that.
If unsure about what the dr is saying get another opinion such as from some of the places like Mayo Clinic as was suggested by another poster.
You, your god-daughter, and her family will be in my thoughts.

My friend's mom was told she had only weeks to live and that was last year, currently she is cancer free. Don't give up hope and remember the power of prayer. Go to the Cancer Treatment Center or the Mayo Clinic, somewhere where they are used to dealing with "hopeless" cases and can work miracles. In the meantime, make sure your Goddaughter has all the support she needs...it's all about her right now. Make sure she understands what is happening to her and that everyone around her is going to help her fight.

Everything she can. She needs to find ways to have fun and really laugh despite the future. Go somewhere excotic, if funds are a problem set up a fundraiser for her, she might feel happy having a huge support system. She will get to feel very important that will mean a lot.

Try not to give up, there is always a chance for a miracle, dont be sad, celebrate her life..Take her where she wants to go.. Disneyland, DisneyWorld.. Take her to all the movies she wants.. basically do what she wants, let her practice driving the car, have a party.. Sorry that you and she are going through this, this must be tough..
good luck to you and to her.

My heart goes out to you and the family. It is a tumultuous time for everyone. What does the little girl want to do? Ask her. She may just want to visit with everyone she loves. She will be frightened and will quite possibly ask about death, and dying, and heaven etc. Have answers ready that will satisfy her and comfort her. God bless.

no worries...and never give up on your faith on god
he is always there watching the good and bad.
believe in him and pray with him for your god daughter
a miracle could happen anytime, many cases i have heard, where they were in a coma, even died and suddenly they woke up...its really amazing when you listen to all thier stories...they speak to jesus.. have stronger faith in god and lift up all your burdens to him and i believe, a miracle would come. dont just hope but make it happen and believe in him.
my prayers and wishes are always there for you and your god daughter. have faith in god.
