Yes, the Warriors match up real well against the Mavericks, they are 2-0 against them. They beat Dallas by 13 & 17. They match up alright aginst Phoenix, but have the lower hand 1-2 overall and only won by 5.
I think that Golden State getting in will make for a better series aginst Dallas
The playoff push would probley get as far as the 8th spot, I couldn't see them taking over Denver or LA for the 6th or 7th seed since the Warriors still have a losing record and those teams do not.

The Clippers are extremely inconsistent and will slip out of the eight spot I do think Golden State will make the play-offs in a tight race and put a good fight against Dallas because they match up well, they play them again this season, and they would force Dirk to be a clutch player (which he's not) plus Baron Davis is the Man

yay!!! like "what?" i too am a HUGE warriors fan and i agree with him that it really is great to have more supporters for golden state. having said that, i really really really hope the warriors can keep up the momentum towards a playoff push for the eighth spot but the clips are not gonna make it easy. its so close right now that i can see this thing go down to the wire up to the very end to decide who will get that last spot. we cant rely on the clippers to falter... we have to take these last couple games and make the most of it. it's crunch time baby!! ive been saying it all season long... THIS IS THE YEAR.... and with a healthy lineup like we had tonight against the suns, the warriors can definitely hang with the best of em! GO DUBS!!!!! I BELIEVE!!!!!

I`m actually a clippers fan and would obviously rather see clippers in hte playoffs, but as much as i would like to see it, i have to admit that Golden State does seem to be a better team, and i definitley bet it is a better fastbreak team. The clippers arn`t too good with hte fast breaks.
I think it all boils down to
Elton brand, Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas.
If these 3 dominates, i think clippers will have keep their positions in 8th place.

If the Clippers falter, than Golden State can make it in, but right now they are not the bubble team....they are one game behind on the bubble. They have to get in first. I am not a Golden State fan so don't have a vested interest. I am hoping the Jazz finally pull one off, but that is just what it is, HOPE.

I just saw the Phoenix & Golden State game tonight, the warriors are a fun team to watch, they can run just like the suns can, and yes they might take the 8th spot if the clippers start losing games

Sure, why not? That eighth spot is pretty soft. All it will take is a mini-streak, and GS is capable of one, now that they're healthy.
But don't focus too much on those big wins: GS isn't a great team, and won't make a dent in the playoffs. They're five games under .500 and wouldn't even be smelling the playoffs if there were eight solid teams in the West. Check out that gap between 1-5 and everyone else - there will be no West upsets in the first round this year.

golden state will make the playoffs guaranteed. They are 8-3 since the return of Baron Davis and the indiana trade made their team much faster. tonight they beat up the suns 124-119
they can run with anyone.
Let's get a good playoff run

im probably the biggest GS supporter here and i must say its nice to see people saying nice things about this team. i think they have a shot especially if they play like this everynight, though it will be hard especially against slow pace teams. the warriors can beat phx and dallas because they dont play the same way SA, Houston, Utah plays all slow paced. but the warriors still have to play Utah, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio. so it will be a very very hard schedule. but hopefully we can do it, if not, then next year it looking really good.

I would love to see the Warriors get into the playoffs and take Dallas, San Antonio, or Phoenix to a 7 games series or win it in 6 games......!!!!
Their a young team and next year they should be serious contenders and hopefully get a better seeding!!!!
