Oh, groveling is not necessarily demeaning if you are absolutely sincere in your grovel.

It really is a new improved artform and becoming the alternate choice of thousands every day.

Oh no. Groveling is quite acceptable. The Internet Oracle requires a good grovel before he answers your questions. It is an art-form, come to think of it.

I believe it's demeaning because when you grovel it's like a last resort and beyond. It shows a lack of self-respect to grovel.

Not if someone had a nine gage pressed up against your head. Under any other circumstances, yes, I personally find grovelling unnecessary.
