I'm usually not super shy but for some reason I'm just really shy when I go in to class.
How can I overcome this?
I mean I've tried talking to people but usually I end up talking to the snobby bitchy girls.
I need help :(

If you want to become an actor you need to learn to overcome being shy or afraid of others. Create a character who is not shy and "become" her. Walk in her shoes, take on her personality and behave as she would behave. See, your first big role.

Right now, it sounds as though you want to feel comfortable with the other students, so that you can do a better job with the classwork.

I'd suggest that you try thinking about it in just the opposite way: put your focus on the CLASS; come in there determined to move yourself forward as a performing artist. Your efforts will be recognized and respected by your classmates, and it'll become easier for you to connect with them.

Try coming into class with a few specific questions and/or suggestions...things you'd like to try, or thoughts you had based on the last class session. That'll get you talking, and it'll also signal to your classmates that you're a serious student who warrants their attention and respect.

Good luck.

Concentrate on the tasks given by the acting teacher. Your shyness will disappear before you notice.
