I say that he sure does deserve it yet I agree with the others in that it is hard to get to Canton playing safety.

Are you kidding me? Why do people feel the need to put average to slightly above average players in the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is for GREAT players, not guys who had ok careers. So, he got a Super Bowl ring. There are lots of guys who have Super Bowl rings and have never sniffed the Hall of Fame. John Lynch had a good career, not a Hall of Fame career. The Hall will become a joke if they let in every guy who had Lynch's career.

That's hard to say. The Pro Football Hall of Fame doesn't really seem to have any clear standards of what it takes to be elected. Personally, I don't think he should be. Don't get me wrong, I've always thought of him as a very good player, but I think he's a bit overrated.

He should but he won't. A defensive player has to be absolutely outstanding (like LT or Howie Long) to get in. Only 17 defensive backs are in the HOF and less than half of those were safeties. There are more than twice as many OL in the hall than DB's
It's not that he doesn't deserve it, he just plays the wrong position.

He's in a tough spot. Safeties definitely don't get much love. If he's lucky he might get in on his third or fourth try. But even if he doesn't get in he'll still go down as a Hall Of Fame caliber player.

Absolutely he will. He has a super bowl ring with the bucs and has been blowing people up his whole career, not to mention he is an outspoken leader, trust me he is gonna be in the hall of fame no questions asked

He should.
He is an amazing athlete who'm I've looked up to for a while. I'm now being moved from linebacker to free safety, so now i have even more reason to look up to him.
He's always been a top defensive player. He has smooth movement, good field vision, agility, and makes his tackles. If he doesn't make it... the HOF is a sham...

1st ballot? No. Maybe on the 2nd or 3rd try. For a safety he's had a great career but not many safeties get in.

Love him, but he just does not bring the resume to the table. The HoF is a special place, and I just do not see it happening
