Im not sure but I have been with my partner for seven years this year and I'm certainly itchy (but hopeful that the itch will go away). I recently spoke to a friend of mine who had left his girlfriend after seven years. There seems to be some truth to the myth but I think true love wins out in the end.

I hope not.
Of course now, if you make it to seven years before you get the itch, you're lucky I think.
I think that everyone wonders what it might be like to be with someone else after a while. I'm cynical though.
and i'm not an expert. i've only been married three years.

i'm sorry, in spite of if that is a cop out. there is not any 7 365 days itch. that is a adverse excuse for people who're bored with retaining their promise. earlier you start up dogging me, i've got been married for over sixteen years, along with her for over 20. And believe me...that female has scratched each "itch" i've got ever had.

Statistically it is actually the 5 year itch. Only that one doesn't rhyme so they went with 7 instead.

All it means is that when people have been together for about 7 years they start getting that Itch...or bug to seek out some greener pastures in the opposite sex.........
