I love House! The writing's quite good and even though they have formula episodes, it's just too wonderful a show to miss. I especially love House-isms!

here are some from the1st season (so spoilers ahoy):
Dr. House - "I assume ‘minimal at best' is your stiff upper lip British way of saying ‘no chance in hell.'"
Chase:"Actually, I'm Australian."
Dr. House:"You put the Queen on your money, you're British."
- Poison

Patient's mother:"Who are you?"
Dr. House:"I'm the doctor who's trying to save your son. You're the mom who's letting him die. Clarification. It's a beautiful thing."
- Poison

Dr. House:"Mr. Adams, would you step outside for a moment?"
Adams :"Why?"
Dr. House:"Because you irritate me."
- Poison

"Candy canes? Are you trying to mock me?"
- Damned If You Do

"Don't worry. Many women learn to live with this parasite. My own mother, for example. Forty-five years and she only complains about it now from time to time."
- Maternity

Dr. House:"How are we doing on cotton swabs today? If there's a critical shortage, I could run home."
Dr. Cuddy:"No you couldn't."
Dr. House:"Nice."
- Occam's Razor

"Her leg hurts after running six miles. Who knows? Could be anything."
- Occam's Razor

Dr. House:"Unfortunately, you have a deeper problem. Your wife is having an affair."
Patient:"What?!"
Dr. House:"You're orange, you moron. And it's one thing for you not to notice, but if your wife hasn't picked up on the fact that her husband has changed colors, she's just not paying attention."
- Pilot

"Treating illness is why we became doctors. Treating patients is actually what makes most doctors miserable."
- Pilot

I also love the supporting cast. Wilson and House make a hot team.
House on!

I love the show. It is so interesting how someone who can be the most hated person because of his rude behavior and unexpeceted attitude. I love his attitude and the fact that he is as smart as hell. I wish all doctors can be as smart as him. Maybe a little crazy too. That would make the doctors' visit very interesting. It is cool because the actor himself is from England and I didn't know that till I saw him win a golden globe from this year. That is cool if you have an original accent that you can change your voice for acting. I would think that would be pretty hard. But I love House.

Hugh Laurie is great as House. He is gruff, with this huge chip on his shoulder.
But he does know his stuff. I'd hate to have him for a Dr. as I'd want to bop him in
the beak. We do watch the program. If you watch Bones, Stephen Fry is the
Psychiatrist that Booth goes to. He played with Hugh Laurie years ago in a program I just don't remember the name of. Stephen Fry was the butler. While
Hugh Laurie was a rich guy.

Yeah, it's interesting to watch him because he is not perfect and his comments come from left field and he seems mean and crotchety but you see his vulnerable side too which always make for interesting stories no matter which side of the bed he woke up on that day.

I love it. I really like that they're showing a disabled leading character who has one hell of a mind, too.
