is there an expression that means this?

i want to say: i know this is strange but i don´t like APPLES
* it´s not really apples, but just to give you the context :)

thanks, my native language is not english and sometimes i get stuck with things like that. :))

You can say it as I don't like apples and when the person you're talking to asks why, just say "Yes. I know. It's kinda weird."
