Oh. I'm 1/8th hebrew and I'm an atheist. That just means they are jewish by blood.

And jews come fromt he middle east originally. My jewish great grandmother came to america when she was like 6 or 7and she was from Hungary.

If someone asked, I would say I'm Jewish and an Atheist . . . and to say that jews make fun of christians a lot is really racist.

There are lots of jewish that belong to the jewish diaspora around the world they are not so religious as the conservative party, most of them only celebrate the main festivities, but their religion circumscribes to only that in some cases.

being jewish is about more than going to temple. there are many jews that are secular or atheist and still call themselves jews. it is also about a shared history and culture of a group of people.

Think of it this way, if you don't believe in God,
but your parents, grandparents, friends, co-workers,
etc. all do, and most of them believe in one particular
variant, you'll probably pick up the mannerisms,
expressions and gestalt of that religion.
I'm a militant agnostic, but I still take the Christian
lord's name in vane, occasionally.
