Without a doubt, it was when a ball bounced of Jose Canseco's head for a home run:

I was actually watching the game and almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

My favorite baseball blooper happened in the old Muncipal Stadium in Cleveland when a Cleveland batter hit a deep fly ball and the ball bounced off Jose Canseco's head and went over the fence for a home run.

My favorite was a couple years ago at the Royals game. It was during the middle of a 19 game losing streak and it just capped off the futility of that Royals team. The Royals were in the field, there was a runner on 3rd, the batter hit a soft grounder past the pitcher down towards first. Ken Harvey the first baseman charged to field the ball, the pitcher (I can't remember who it was) also gave chase running toward first. Harvey picked up the ball barehanded and loaded up to fire home. Right at the point where he should have let go of the ball, his hand - with the ball still in it - clocked the pitcher right in the face and knocked him out cold.

I would have to agree with the Randy Johnson bird pitch. The first time I saw it, I thought that somebody had altered the video on there computer. I saw it a few more times and found out it was real. What are the chances?

The Canseco one and the Johnson one is good but I like the one where the a wild pitch bounces into the umpires pocket, all the players and umpires are trying to figure out where the ball went and no one can until the home-plate ump realizes its in his shirt pocket, there were men on base so everybody is running and yelling, the umps got the ruling right of coarse they awarded 1 base from the mound on a ball out of play

I liked when Jose Canseco lets a fly ball bounce off his head and go over the wall for a Home Run.

EDIT: Okay that was a popular one so I'll pick another.

Steve Lyons, when he was on the Red Sox, on 2nd base, 2 outs in the ninth, Sox a run down and he gets thrown out stealling 3rd to end the game. Earned him the nickname, "Psycho".

My favorite is when Jose let a ball bounce off his head for a home run. But I like Johnson's bird beam as well.
