A few years ago when I was eating a chicken nugget from McDonald's it tasted all slimy like I was eating an organ. It only happened once but I still am cautious of the nuggest I eat. Other than that I think they are made from chickens.

Well, chicken nuggets are mainly made from substances that were once part of or were somehow connected to actual chickens, so I guess the answer is yes, they are.

A chicken nugget is a piece of chicken, either whole or composed from a paste of finely minced chicken or chicken skin, which is then coated in batter or breadcrumbs before being cooked. Fast-food restaurants typically deep-fry their nuggets in oil.

as chickens are processed for whole, parts, wings, legs, breasts, etc. there are tid bits left over, cuttings, shavings, grizzle, etc.
all that is minced up and pressed into nugget forms. they are chicken, but the waste more or less.
