Of course. But around here some of the red lights blink, so I go in between the blinks just to be safe.

I pulled up to a light about 3 AM once. Looked all around in all directions, I saw no cars anywhere. So I went through the red light. No sooner did I do this when all of a sudden I see headlights appear out of nowhere. I had a sick feeling about this, and sure enough the next thing I knew, I was getting pulled over. I was driving a semi at the time full of US mail. The cop was really cool about it too. He didn't write me up. He said that if I were driving a car, he would have cited me, but since I was in a semi, I must be a pro.

Believe it or not, but, no I do not run red lights during the day nor at night. I value my life too much to jeopardize it in such a reckless manner. I even put on my turn signals at every turn. Even if it is a lane change.
It only takes that one time, when you think that no one is around you, for you to have a collision.

I only run the red light if I'm in a hurry, but as I like driving, I usually stop and enjoy the music on the radio.

I have. There's this one light by my house that stays red FOREVER at night. So I run it sometimes ( I stop and check for cars coming from the other way first). But I'd pissed if I got caught. What a dumb thing to get a moving violation for! : )

No way! My sister did that (because she THOUGHT there was nobody around) and got side-swiped by a truck. In addition to that, (as if that weren't a good enough reason) police love to hide their cars in areas like that waiting for people to run lights so they can pull them over and ticket them.

Only if the light acts like it will never change. I have had that happen before. I sat there and sat there and sat there, ad infinium, and after what seemed like 30 minutes, I finally got up the nerve to go through. I wasn't 30 minutes of course, it just seemed like it! *sm*

I myself wouldn't. The biggest reason being that at that hour of the night the only people out are drunks and cops. And I don't want to meet either one if you know what I mean.
