How can i tell him i don't want him to hang out with us all the time, that he can be annoying not because of his disability but just because of his unique character?

Plan some activities that you can include him in. Your contact with him most likely will help him with self-esteem issues and make him feel wanted. It's up to his brother and parents to have "the talk" with him about separate activities and developing his own friendships.

Being a disabled person myself the only way I can answer you is to have a talk with your friend and his family and then for you to learn to handle the situation as it developes. You do not have to put the load on yourself. But let the family handle it and as for the disability. Well you need to learn that not all people are so called perfect. The only one was Jesus and you need to learn how to handle people with disablilities. It would be best for you to relay this to his family.

wow, that's pretty harsh, well then why don't you tell that to his not mentally disabled brother? Maybe his not mentally disabled brother can talk him into some sense?

Be honest but respectful. Tell him you are uncomfortable or simply hang out with your friend away from the house.

Tell your friend that you want some time with him or her and that their brother can't come along.
