I want my old laptop computer to be able to pick up wifi! How can I or can I modify my laptop computer so that I can pick up wifi with some sort of adapter?

if you have a pcmcia card slot or a usb port, then you are in luck. head down to the computer store and turn to the network isles and look for wifi products that best suit your needs.

Take a look at USB wireless adapters. I've used a nice Belkin model in the past with success. You should be able to pick one up at any computer store for a reasonable price.

Yes, it is possible. Since you havent mentioned the model/make of your laptop, I wont be able to give you the type number. Visit their website and look for USB/PCMCIA wi-fi adapter kit. Almost all laptop manufacturer provide this part.

if ur laptop has a communication daughter card (CDC) slot, u can buy a wireless CDC card and slot it in, install and u can use it.. an usb wireless ethernet adapter is also available..
