Well, the thing is that each of the sites you listed has a different purpose and you are basically asking to compare apples to pears...but if I must, I would say:
Lime Wire totally sucks...it put so many viruses on my comp that it stopped working
E Mule is definitely good
I'm not sure about Ares (I never used it)
My Space is great but just takes enormous amounts of time
And last but not least...I would definitely pick Yahoo Answers as the #1 of all these sites because it affords me the opportunity to stick my nose in other people's business and voice my opinion with someone actually reading it. And it is not as time-consuming as My Space...hope this answers your question!

They all leave a lot to be desired.
YA - try doing a real search to find a particular open question - the results are in random order. Try changing the granularity to hours. Stifling format,due to the limited data base manipulation language. Sorry. Don't shoot the messenger.
My Space - Role back the clock to hyper-text. Nice that it's there, lame that the old noggin has to remember it or use a proprietary tool.

Rate as number 1 for what? Content, interesting articles or blogs or whatever, you get the point.? In general, I would say Yahoo answers and Limewire are about equal.
