Example 1: Saddam video of him getting hung. Everyone freaked out over it. Year earlier video airs of our troops and other civilians gettings their heads chopped off.... any arrests or backlash... nope.

Example 2: Over in Iraq you cant even say something to an Iraqi w/o getting court marshalled... over here you can bad mouth your own president.

Example 3: Islams/Muslims w/e get on a plane start speaking gibberish and getting people riled up, get ejected off plane, sue the US and bam we got a lawsuit.
American says anything close to being a threat on a plane, your off to jail for 10+ years.

This is what gets me about our society for one we are too Forgiving, too helpful, and way too over protective of others feelings and not nearly protective of ourselves as we should be.

To the first contributer, I used gibberish b/c i didnt really care what they spoke that wasnt the point, the point is that they can get away with it. And im not filled with hatred of people who are different than me Im filled with hatred for people that just dont care or even try to make a stand against people who do stuff like this.

There's no real answer for your question... no offense, I agree... but to truly understand what is happening here you have to achieve a sense of surreality and nirvana that most of us can't really expect to see. You can try though... You'll need lots of candles, and Idol of worship... a picture of the Clinton's works well for this... and a focus outlet for you angers and frustrations.... I think most libs these days choose a picture of Bush or Cheney for this. You would have to ask a lib how the actual ritual is performed, the details are fuzzy as it is very secretive, but if done correctly... it should cloud your judgment enough that all of those things you asked about will make perfect sense.

Good Luck!

"Speaking gibberish" -- so, any language you personally don't understand is gibberish and unworthy of utterance?

But to your examples:

1. Saddam was killed by the new Iraqi govt. Our troops were killed by insurgents. Neither was done by our govt. And neither is an example of the US treating anyone in any way.

2. In the US, we are governed by the US Constitution. In Iraq (and any other country) their local laws apply. Two different countries, two different sets of laws. No relation at all.

3. Yes, religious and racial discrimination is against the law. And violates the 14th Amendment to our Constitution. That applies even if you personally don't like the religion or race.

It's sad that you are so filled with hatred for those who are different than you. Even sadder that you don't seem to grasp the basic legal concepts involved in your examples.

Americans respect human rights and it is the reason that when abuses are committed against other people even when enemies, criticisms and comments are being hurled against the human rights violators.
