What for???
it doesn't matter how long you live??
The important thing is live healthy and happily.

If you already live healthy and happily...then what do you want anymore in this life.Time to move to the next level of life.
Just like a computer game, stuck in one level is boring.

by the way,if we can live forever, the earth will be explode becuse of overload.

Have a nice life!

human has been created to live eternally with the creator. This life of ours is nothing but a journey to the eternal life. Based on the character developed of our spirit we will be selecting our place where we will spend our eternity either in heaven or hell.
So human is living eternally.
But if u want to spend that eternal life in heaven where there is no sorrow, pain, agony nor grief u have to beleive the incarnation of God who came to redeem us from the clutches of sin, died for our sins on the cross, came to bless the whole human kind who alone is Jesus Christ and make a way for heaven so that we can enter there, live with him forever and ever.
So the choice is urs. Beleive him and have a close relationship with him while u are on the earth, so that when u finish ur journey u can be with him eternally in heaven.
If not, we have already done enough to enter the other place.
Hope this clears ur question.

Living forever is a horrible thing, for one, you dont know what will happen to your body as you age on forever. Another thing is those you know and love would have died while you just lived forever. Another problem you may run into is the media constantly wanting to interview you for living forever. Overall, living forever would cause more problems than it is actually worth.

because our bodies degrade as we get old. It would be nice to live for longer than approx 80 years, but really who would want to live forever. What if you couldnt die? When the sun explodes, you will be floating around space forever, and may never ever see another life form again, and it will never ever end, no hope of not existing any more, it would be so horrible, there will be no ending to the story, you will be alive forever and never have the prospect of going to sleep and not waking up, forever and ever and ever

It's quite chilling when you think about it

I do not want to live forever ... If you live for hundreds or thousands of years, you'll be sick of living. I think eternal life is eternal pain.

If no children -- human beings' or animals' or insects' -- were born, we might be able to live forever, because we don't have to care of places to live in. But it can't be ... Every day some dies and others are born. When the dead lose places, we get where the dead lived. It is natural.

Do you know the wheel of life, which comes from Buddhism? I think it might be true.

One reason is your telomeres on the ends of your DNA. Everytime a cell replicates, the telomeres shorten. After several replications, the cell can no longer replicate correctly because the telomeres have become too short.

Telomeres supposedly control longevity. The group of people with long telomeres tend to live longer than the group of people with short telomeres.

Cancer cells can replicate quickly and continually because of the enzyme telomerase which allows cells to endlessly and accurately replicate.

It may be possible to live forever if scientists can figure out how to use telomerase in such a way that our cells can reproduce similarly to cancer cells.

I'm not a scientist, so it would be best to verify my information by doing a web search on telomeres.

so far it isn't possible to live forever because our bodies wear out.

In the beginning of the bible it talks about people living several hundred years. Most likely because the ozone layer had yet to be thinned out and mankind was fairly new to the earth, thus less disease.

The only way to live forever is for our souls to do so and that is after our bodies die if we are connected to the Creator.

I think our 'awareness' does live forever. The 'program' from this life is erased, but life cannot be snuffed out. Personality dies, but the life energy continues to sizzle. We are a little like electricity...a bulb blows out, replace the bulb, the current shoots into it...new light. The current can't be killed...it will manifest somewhere.

Physically its impossible. Mentally we are immortal in the minds and memorys of those that held us dear to them. We can technically live forever that way. Also, many believe that the human spirit, soul or essence is made of energy. Since you cannot create nor destroy energy and only change its shape so to speak we live on in the comos. Hope this helps.

Man, think how long the lines would be at Disneyland if everybody lived forever?!?! Or even at a drive-thru? Hence, the conspiracy of the medical profession to let people die.
