There will be some federal withholding against the gross wages, and without knowing what's on your W-4 (filing status and number of exemptions) there isn't much of a way to figure that.
But the amount for Social Security is 6.2% of the gross wages, or $42.86. And for Medicare, it's 1.45% or $10.02. You'll usually see this listed as one amount, labeled FICA.
If you live in a state that has state income tax, there will be a deduction on there for state withholding also.

I would say approximately 635.72 if and only if taxes are 8 cents on the dollar were you live.
You all so need to take into consideration other such plans as unemployment, 401 K, Retierment fund, health insurance (all of them) etc etc etc.
my work only includes "regular taxes". I will show you my work, and if i have messed up I apologize.
691-(0.08(691)) =~ 635. 72

I, myself usually clear about 52% of my gross wages. This includes Federal, State, City, FICA, Medicare, and God knows what else they take out. You may clear a little more, because that also includes a United Way contribution and some union dues.

It usuall depends where you live, how many dependants you deduct. But a kinda rule of thumb is you take your gross and subtract 19%.and that usually gets you in the ball park.now after you deduct that, you add around 15.00 to you net for each dependand that you claim..Good luck

It depends on where you live, as you'll have deductions for federal, state, and local taxes.
