Sure does seem a poor choice of words!!
Makes you wonder if they ever get past the "practicing" part. LOL.

I have nothing against doctors even if I have a morning appointment tomorrow. It is unfair to generalize doctors because there is a risk that their operations may fail. It is kind of where I am at. I have an unbelievable amount of pain with my injuries. I am sure that he doesn't want me to end up as a junkie. But the fact is that I am going to ask for more medication just so I can smile and sleep once and a while.

Oh I know...I know...I know.
And they give you a very large bill after they practice and still don't know what is wrong with you.
... and you have to ask other doctors for a second opinion on your condition.

not really. medicine is still more of an art than a science. they can do all the tests they like, but diagnosis is still an educated guess.
