Hello. If I HAD to give one up... I think it should be the television. There's potentially more value metaphorically speaking in a cellphone and computer than a television. You can't reach out to anyone with a television, but I can reach people half way around the world via the cellphone or web via the computer. I can store memories onto my computer, so yeah... let the tv go. Peace!

I would give up the television, because without it, I still have the computer to keep up with current events and the cell to stay in contact with loved ones.

I'd give up the television..in fact I pretty much already have. Dvd's can be played on the computer as well as music.
News can be obtained online (and it isn't as filtered as on television) and other sources like the radio, newspapers, and magazines.
As well most of the shows on tv today are just lame.

I can give up my cellphone and I have already done that for 4 months when I was in the USA. I asked for the landlines of my friends anyway. I cant live without computer, through computer you can also communicate through Messenger and email.
Through the television I can watch the latest news and watch my tv programs.

I don't have a cell phone; I don't even like the regular phone. Easy choice for me! I'd choose my computer above all else, though. So TV would go next.

Take all of it, please! All of that stuff really does take away so much from potential in areas such as intelligence and musical ability. It does raise you to be a zombie! If you watch TV while learning something, everytime you use that skill, you will think of that TV show, or visa versa. It makes you do things, or remember things, because your attention was interrupted and diverted to something, therefore combining the two.
A good example, if you play a video game for hours while listening to one band or CD, then you will probably associate that game with that band, or band with game.
All of that stuff really does destroy your mind... Sometimes it's convenient, though. It can really help you out, like it does on this site... If you need to know something, and you live where everyone's freakin' stupid... ((central Texas!!!)) Then this stuff helps.
Ex. What? Why do people want to worship god??? Because he's up there, duh! "What if he's not?" ...do you worship Satan? "No, you're stupid."
Satan's cool too, though.
