HI
I want to go to LasVegas with my friend but I am under 21. So Ican not check in, but can I rent the room under my name and credit card and someone who is over 21 check in with me as an adult? Would the hotel allow that?
Thank you

"Most" hotel/casinos in LV do require that the person checking into the room be 21. "ALL" of them do not, "SOME" hotels allow a person over 18 to check into the room in his/her name so long as you have a credit card.

I was just checking a hotel out for someone a few hours ago and they allow any one over 18 to check in. The Golden Nugget(a very nice 4 star hotel) allows 18YO's you just have to have a credit card and a photo ID.

The Las Vegas Hilton is another that allows 18YO's

You most certainly could stay in a non-gaming hotel if you would rather, such as the Platinum Hotel, it's only two blocks from the center of the strip.

this site lists all of the hotel/casinos in LV, pick out the ones you're interested in and check to see if they will allow an 18 YO to check in

no you have to be 21 to rent the room under your name, they will check the credit card and know that you're NOT 21. ( I lived in Las Vegas for 4 yrs...don't fool with the hotels there, they can make life very difficult for you...)

As the others have said you have to be 21 years of age and the credit card has to be in your name. They check carefully. You can try Sin City Hostel or possibly the hotels on Fremont Street. I know first hand the strip is high on security in all aspects.
