Because you have never been to fundraisers for pro-abortion rights or promoting homosexuality in American youth...But don't worry, because I haven't been to any of those either. I guess you just don't like to donate in helping America become a "liberated" society;)

I think this is a really loaded question, and deserves a response in kind. I don't know where you live, and what sort of charity functions you go to...that could be a factor in who/what is a "liberal".
Certainly, where I live (the San Francisco Bay Area), a lot of charity functions are attended by people who identify themselves as liberal. I don't know why you would come up with such a conclusion unless you are trying to provoke anyone.
And finally, in response to your last sarcastic comment, I support policies that support and benefit society. This would include advocating universal health care, sufficient funding of education, and ending a war that has brought little benefit to our country but a lot of headaches and international enmity that will hurt our national interests. I happen to call myself a liberal.
The government in power now is considered to be a conservative government. So tell me how running up deficits, cutting back on health care benefits, shortchanging our veterans, underfunding No Child Left Behind, giving away no-bid contracts to Halliburton and wasting taxpayers' money in a poorly conceived and planned military conflict is 'benefiting society'?

Its because you are a republican obviously...and most times at events like this party lines are drawn and the liberals will go to their charity events free of republicans and the republicans will go tho theirs free of liberals... why must you assume that just because you don't see someone who opposes your views somewhere they must not support anything that that function is in support of...can't you see maybe they just dont want to socialize with the likes of you, just as you most likely truely don't want to socialize with the likes of them....

What exactly does a liberal look like, anyway? We don't wear any sort of identification to signify our right-mindedness, but I imagine the GOP is working on fixing that. I'm also not sure if monster truck rallies qualify as charity functions.

Probably because 1) you only attend uptight conservative charity functions and 2) you wouldn't know a liberal if you saw one.

mainly because Liberals don't think their statements through well enough to win anybody over through charity functions.... I mean, a liberal Christian is an oxy-moron in itself. What would they say, "Donate money so we can stop the Conservatives from saving lives" or "Lets support marriages that are against our country's foundational basis and so our population dies down".... probably not... they don't have anything to support, so they just don't
