Would you pay over $55,000 [U.S. Dollars] to travel (through an extreme travel expertise service) for about a month to the geographic South Pole (in Antarctica)?

I know I would if I had the money but will one day do it.

To expensive. Going to Antarctica should only cost a little over $5,000. I guess it all depends on the type of trip being taken. But a whole month still should not be that expensive. I don't see how it could be over $10,000 honestly. Extreme travel must mean hiking through the snow. Riding a big cargo ship there. Living in the wild. Building an igloo. They must have a pot made of gold there just for you. Have fun paying that 55,000.

No... not even if the money was not a factor, and I had traveled the world twice over.... I do not like the snow.... and at all costs avoid it...so I could not see my self paying to go and be cold for a month.

I think I would if money wasn't a problem... although I think I could come up with something better to do with 55,000!

Because a lot of training and outfitting goes into harsh environment expeditions...it's very costly.

Maybe if i won the lottery, but that's too much compared to prices of other great places I could visit.

Everything is relative. I would pay a million dollars to fly into space ....if I had it and someone would take it.
