Your friend should respect the privacy between you and your other friend, Do not tell her anyway as that will affect the trust between you and the other friend, if she stays mad then that is her problem, at least she will know you are loyal and can keep a secret.

no. you're being a good friend, I think. I mean here, A told you his secret and asked you not to tell. you keep that promise and in effect, you can't tell B - but because A asked you not to. I believe you're only being fair to A because again he asked you. Ask B how would she feel if she asked you to keep a secret and A this time demanded that you tell him what B told you?
I mean, I don't really see the point of keeping promises or telling secrets if you're going to compromise.
I think B should even be reassured that you didn't tell her what A told you because it's sort of suggests that you'd do the same for B.
And a true friend, according to Oscar Wilde, I think, would stab you in the front.
good luck and keep on being a good friend.

Your kind of nosey best friend is not being fair to you. If you were to explain to the friend who told you this secret, about the trouble keeping the secret from your other friend has caused maybe they would be open to telling the secret to them themselves, or possibly allow you to. Otherwise this secret should remain just that! You sound like a trusting friend and I applaud you for that!

Yes it is lame, but if she was truly your best friend she would respect the wishes that your guy friend requested. If you ask me I'd say she really isn't your friend, that she is just trying to break you and your guy friend, friendship up. She sounds a lil jealous.

yes that is lamer then no other and if they were talking crap behind your back then i think you really need to re evaluate ya'lls friendship because a real bestfriend wouldn't talk S%*$ about a friend no matter how mad they are and they would also understand that there are some things that you just can't tell them.

Yes, thats really lame......unfortunatly...I think that friend could be a drama addict or at least interested in creating drama. They have to be insecure if they have to get into to something that has nothing to do with them. Take it from a person who likes to get into gossip....you heard it from a horses mouth!.

A polite way to have answerer was to say, "I don't care to talk about it". It seems she has a problem with you being your own person. Good luck. Don't think you need this kind of friend. This is just petty.

That is really lame of your friend! She should be glad that you are such a good secret-keeper...more people should be like that.
She's jealous of your other best friend, it sounds like.
