I'll add to Melissa's answer by saying that Aruba Bonaire and Curacao ( the ABC Islands) are the Netherlands Antilles; the islands so'east of the Virgins are the Lesser Antilles; divided into the Leeward Islands......St Martin to Dominica....and the Windward Islands, Dominica to Trinidad.
In case you're wondering, the GREATER Antilles are Cuba Jamaica, Hispaniola ( Haiti and the DR) and Puerto Rico, because they are so much bigger

The most known island of the coast of Venezuela is Margarita island. There are also the Netherlands (Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire) and, to the east, Trinidad and Tobago.
I guess that the islands southeast the Virgins are the Antilles.

The netherlands antilles (Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire) at the west of venezuela, they are part of the Dutch Kingdom, then you have at the east the Venezuelan islands of margarita, Coche, Cubagua, then Trinidad and Tobago; and then if you go up you got Grenada, the french antilles, some british and american islands and more Dutch Islands (Saba, Saint Maarten and St. Eustacius)
