Interesting question. I can see both sides to it.
What, or who I am has little to do with what I have; materially. Although, what I have can provide insight to who I am. Yet, if you take away all that I have, I am still who I am.
On the other hand; What I have in my heart, is a large part of what, or who I am. Therefore, what I have bears a strong resemblance to who I am.
Make sense?

I have things, trinkets, junk. I have dreams of what I want to have fun at, using this stuff. But I never have the time. I would be a good person to talk to, I listen , and analize, and make suggestions, that is what I am like. I am a good natured person. Treasures does not compare to intelligence. Treasures cost money to just brag that you have it.
Intelligence does not cost money, you earn by learning. I love learning...

For the most part I agree. Some of the things you have can give insight to what you are though.

Who you are, like the friends you have, like your personality, like how others look at you and judge you, is not the same as the things you own
