I can't believe he still is our president. They have tried to impeach others for far less damage than he has done to this country. It amazes me that he got elected for another term. His legacy will be a Nation divided, over the wedges he has driven in to it. Divided we fall.
I will pray that we manage to get through this administration in one piece. That the Republicans have lost thier majority over his antics, shows that voting still works, at least to some extent, and the one thing that I will do is continue to vote, and try to have faith in a system that has been distorted by some who would use it to thier ends, and try to have faith that those who do so will not get away with it in the end.

I'm old, so forgive my historical perspective and my ramblings.
I remember this question (in one form or another) being asked when Clinton was President, when Reagan was President, when Carter was President and a number of other Presidents before these fellows.
America is a special place. Americans, even though we argue and fight amongst ourselves about our politicians and our issues, are special people. Yes, we are and continue to be blessed.
WE will take care of matters ourselves. WE will have our candidates and our elections. And WE will continue to argue with each other forever ...but ...WE will take care of our own business ...together. No one else need apply.

I am of the opinion that he was never elected, but rather SELECTED..... the electoral college Is a joke, and the office of the president of the US Is the only office decided In such a manner.... Scrap the electoral college, and require an extensive EXAM,just like a FINAL in college,to qualify you for such An Important position..... PS, The supreme court has NO business deciding our elections either... What ever happened to BY THE PEOPLE,FOR THE PEOPLE???

Hope that he doesn't do any more damage.
Vote like hell for people who will reverse the damage he's already done.
Have a big party on January 20, 2009 to celebrate the end of his 2nd term.

I'll do nothing about him. I am enjoying this wonderful period of time. The Clinton regime is over. We should all enjoy this while it lasts.
