I have acne, and my friend suggested getting a facial. I wonder if it is worth the money, and if the results are as good as people claim. Please tell me your thoughts! thank you!

a good facilist can help..but....since you have acne you want that cleared first.
keep your skin clean at all times..wash it 2-3 times a day with old fashioned ivory soap.
use 100% pure aloe vera gel on your pimples..it will dry them up..

First, let me say I love your pic. Yum, FOB.
Now on to business...It depends on what kind of facial you get. I wouldn't recommend getting one if you have anything open on your face (popped pimple, etc.). You run the risk of an infection or scar. You shouldn't pop at all but that would make it worse. I've heard oxygen facials are the best for acne but I've never had one of those. To be honest, Proactiv works better than just about anything I've tried. The catch is you have to keep using it.

Facials are always helpful. Maybe for a less expensive alternative try a beauty school. All services are done under a licensed professionals supervision. A number of schools offer glycholic peels etc in treatment series.
