I had both... I would rather have MySpace. I kept Facebook for about... 2 hours. I have had MySpace for about a year.

Honestly Myspace is much more universal, and you dont have to be an emo loser to use it just because its personalizable. Both are meant to be networking tools and the larger the network the more effective it is. I only know 2 of my friends who have Facebok who dont also have a myspace. How emo it looks is up to you.

If you're in college, facebook has a lot of nice features. Overall, I prefer myspace though.

Seems to be Facebook for people you know. And myspace if you just want to represent and "collect" friends.

Facebook is better if you are in college. It only recently opened up to the general public. Practically everybody in college is on it, and you can be part of a college network that only other students in your college are eligible to join. However, if you aren't in college, then I don't think it matters that much. I personally like facebook better because the pages are a little more standardized so profiles are easy to read and aren't as "busy". Facebook also doesn't have as many ads.
