First get rid of x^2 and 6.

6x^2(4x + 3) = 0

so if we pay attention to only one section we can say that;

6x^2 = 0 , so x = 0 on two opccations

also that

4x +3 = 0 so
4x = -3
x = -3/4

24x^3 + 18x^2 = 6x^2(4x + 3).
STEP ONE: find the GCF (Greatest Common Multiple with is 6, so = 6(4x^3+ 3x^2)
STEP TWO" factor out the largest "x" exponent you can ge (in this case x^2, so attach it to the 6 already outside parenthesis.). so......
ANSWER: 6x^2(4x + 3).
PROOF (6x^2) x (4x) = 24x^3 and (6x^2) x (3) = 18x^2
Hope this helped.
