Proactive works truly amazingly, but since you cant get that in a week I would suggest getting an acne product from walmart that has a high benzoyl peroxide content 2%, 5%, and 10% can be found. I would suggest using it directly on the spots only because it will dry out your skin a lot. Benzoyl Peroxide is great for killing already existing zits.
Use that in the short term until you can get your hands on proactive, then you can maintain great skin.
Ive used that neutragena system before I got proactive and it does work a bit but not near as good as proactive.

well it might take a little bit longer than a week... but what you could do is buy a good cleanser for your face (a strong one) try neutrogena pore treatment mask/cleanser, comes in a white short bottle.
then follw these steps
1. wash your face with very hot water *without the cleanser first* this will open your pores
2. then take a bit of the cleanser and use it as any normal face wash. make sure you clean your face well
3. then wash off the soap with hot water again.
4. then turn on the cold water and use plenty of it on your face *this closes pores
this should work on anyone with skin problems and it gives your pores a very good cleanse.
*make sure you don't get this product on any of your colored shirts or towels on rugs because it leaves white drops on them that look like clorox fell on them cause of the active ingredient this product contains.
*like i said before it might take a bit longer than a week but you will see improvement in the first 4-5 days.
*and don't pop them! instead apply a DROP of this stuff and leave it on for a couple of hours.
*if you are going to put it on your face for a long time only use a drop of it, and try it first on a tiny spot on your forehead to make sure your skin isn't too sensitive because it can irritate sensitive skin easily
*if you aren't sure how sensitive you skin is and you don't wanna waste your money first, then go to the store and try a little drop on your arm or something and leave it on for a long while, if it doesn't make the area on your arm too red you should be fine. good luck =)

Try Panoxyl Soap Bar 10 % benzoil peroxide. You can find it at any drugstore. Dont squeeze them. Let them dry up and go away on thier own. Also, mositurize with an oil free moisturizer.
This soap works pretty well. Wash gently in the morning and at night.
Good Luck.

This is literally too much heat - your face has become a volcano just to let it out! Try mung bea, seagrass, seaweed, Chinese hawthorn (shan zha), Job's tears (yi yi ren), and purple sage (dan shen). Avoid spicy foods, greasy foods, and fried foods. Try some raw vegetables, too.
for more...

if you have a serious case, you could try antibiotics called- roaccutane. if not, you could try any anti-pimple stuff which contains "benzyol peroxide" but if you are allergic to that, it would worsen your condition. I tried using proactive but it didnt work for me because i was allergic to benzyol peroxide.
