I'm going away on a trip tomorrow and am looking for some new music. What are some of your favorite songs/bands?

Tool- Schism, Vicarious, Parabola, 10,000 Days, Right In Two

Rage Against the Machine-Down Rodeo, Killing in the Name, Bulls on Parade, The Ghost of Tom Joad

Nine Inch Nails- Survivalism, With Teeth, Only, Closer, The Hand that Feeds, Head Like a Hole

Queens of the Stone Age- No One Knows, Song for the Dead

The Mars Volta- The Widow

AFI- Totalimmortal, Kill Caustic

These are all rock bands, but they all make very different music. If you are a rap fan, go with Rage Against the Machine. They make a rock/hip hop hybrid and pull it off very well. If you like Punk rock go with AFI(most of their old albums are punk rock). If you like dark complicated music Nine Inch Nails is the best in that genere. Tool is progressive rock/metal, they are amazing. Queens of the stone age is hard rock, and the mars volta is alternative.

I do not know, however I'd have an interest to grasp what persons feel I concentrate to. I get dressed in denims, heels (often residences), and extraordinary conservative shirts (no longer t-shirts). On any given day, you might trap me paying attention to any of the next: Beirut, Elliott Smith, Bob Dylan, Tupac, John Frusciante, Silversun Pickups, Michael Jackson, random instrumentals that I like, Of Montreal, Sam Cooke, Outkast, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Elvis Costello, Decemberists, The Wallflowers, Van Morrison, Bauhaus, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Clash, Third Eye Blind, Blind Melon, Arcade Fire, Jeff Buckley, Sun Kil Moon, Tori Amos, Red House Painters, Peter Bjorn and John, Nirvana, David Bowie, Ben Folds, Meat Puppets, Entrance, Elton John, Neil Young, The Cranberries, and The Cure, amongst others. Is that what you'll wager?

Fall Out Boy- their new album is really good. people that hadn't liked them before are really getting into their new album

Rascall Flatts

Akon, or Eminem

Weird Al

Switchfoot

3 Doors Down

The Phantom Of The Opera Soundtrack

I tried to vary that between as many different genres as I could think of. So depending on what type of music you're into, you can look into them,..

I had the same question and someone suggested the band Houston Calls. They are kind of like Fall Out Boy, if you like them.
