Switched from film to digital as the resolution and quality increased. Film still has some advantages: by my calculation, Kodachrome or Panatomic-X 35 mm pictures are the equivalent of about 50 megapixels, and larger format, of course, has even more information.
The convenience of viewing, copying and transmitting photos while traveling is more important to me, as well as the economy: since I only print the photos I want, it's far cheaper than film.

Digital, I don't have the time or the money to be constantly developing film.

Just got my first NICE digital cam, and I use that now, but sometimes I still enjoy buying a roll of film and popping into a 1970s-era Konica and snapping off a few for fun.
