!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISCLAIMER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM NOT RECOMMENDING YOU DO THIS............BUT....
Although it may seem COOL, it has it's DOWNSIDE. More on that later, but here is what you need to know.
You need an IGNITION source, (spark plug is OK) and of course, unburned FUEL. There are problems obtaining both without serious SIDE EFFECTS.
You need to get the spark plug to produce a spark, and it could be done by connecting the wire from one of the engine's plugs, to the tailpipe plug, but that would cause a rather poor performing engine. You could "switch" it momentarily, but you really don't want to mess up your bike with a high tension switch, do you?
Another problem is the unburned fuel coming out is at a fuel/air ratio which is JUST RIGHT for EXPLODING in the cylinders, and also just right for exploding in your muffler. Not so good! (could blow your muffler clean off!)
So, we need two things to make this work, and they are: A source of SPARKS, and a HIGHLY ENRICHED fuel mixture so that it is NOT explosive.
Here is the solution I used in the 1950's.
Back when I was a boy, I did this with my car just for kicks. I built a spark generator using a radio vibrator, and an ignition coil. (seriously; you probably don't know what a radio vibrator is, because you're too young.) But it worked.
I would push a button and begin the spark at the end of the tailpipe using a spark plug strapped there with a hose clamp, and. while the car was coasting, cut the ignition, and pull the choke.
Now there's abundant UNBURNED FUEL coming out, and a SPARK.
Result was 20 FEET OF FLAMES! (BRIGHT yellow, and SPECTACULAR at night!) but the downside was I was ARRESTED, under the charge of "Illegal flame throwing device on a vehicle" (YES, there IS a specific law in my State!)
Learned my lesson, and never did it again. (although I wanted to. Would've been great to discourage tailgaters.)
Today, finding a radio vibrator might be problematic, but you might try using one of those little piezoelectric spark generators used on gas barbeque grills. Might just work.
As the Mythbuster's say; "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME !"

When I want to see some real cool flames shoot out the tailpipe, I use Aviation fuel!!! It makes for nice purple and blue flames and will not hurt the motor as long as you do not over rev it or have the timing off too far. BUT, did I mention that it is expensive? My friend uses it in his 4 wheeler (Raptor) and it is awesome. Just bring the revs up about half way and then pop off the gas all at once and the flames will appear... Later.

Oh God, flames yet. Okay, try aviation fuel and run the carb rich. Get her good and hot and back off the throttle HARD, you'll get flame. If you want running flame, try nitro, not good unless you're into drag racing. Remember, flames draw cops and large tickets as well as an indication you or your engine is screwed up.

Your new exhaust may not have a spark suppressor in the piping. Most aftermarket performance exhaust system don't have a spark suppressor in the exhaust piping. A spark suppressor keeps any fuel that didn't get burned in the cylinder that gets in the exhaust from igniting from a spark out of the combustion camber.

buy a military-surplus flamethrower and plug it into your exhaust. use duct tape for a more secure grip at speed.
don't forget to drill a hole in your exhaust pipe so there's room for the exhaust to come out.
if your bike is big and powerful enough with a suspension tough enough, try bolting a small afterburning jet engine to the back seat.
don't forget to install a parachute to stop your bike.

there is one way to do it but i wouldn't sugest it, depending on what kind of bike you have you can normally take the carb, and lean it out which will cause the motor to back fire thereby causeing a flame to come out of your exaust, this will also make you bike run like crap, and again i say that i would not sugest doing it!!

pour alot a gas in the exaust....when you fire it up it should throw flames about 5 feet out...
think about it like your lighting your ffarts on fire.
make sure there's someone standing by to bring you to the hospital...

TRY RASING THE AMOUNT OF GAS THAT IS GOING THROU THE motorcycle.[THE LEFT OVER GAS WILL CATCH FIRE AND THROW IT OUT OF THE EXHAUST.]
ALSO TRY AN NITSIS SYSTEM

spark plug in the exhaust then run it rich that way it will dump more fuel into the cylinders....it will be bad for performance and gas mileage but it looks badass haha
