Nikki, Paolo and the guy that they conned died. The episode revolved around flashbacks of Nikki and Paolo and how they poisoned Nikki's lover,in order, to get some diamonds that they been holding out for. Nikki and Paolo are poisoned by spiders that paralyze their victims for 8 hours and are subsequently buried alive by Hurley and Sawyer. The last scene has Nikki opening her eyes at the last second as the sand hits her face. They also showed a badly wigged Shannon and Boon in the flashbacks.

Well, you don't really know if anyone did. There were two "new" castaways introduced, but they were not part of the show until last night. To make a long story short, it looks like they were both bitten by this type of spider that will paralyze you, making it appear that you are dead. Thing is, they were buried, but right before a shovel full of sand hit the feamle in the face, she opened her eyes. Yep, buried alive !

Well, not yet anyway :) Nikkie and Paulo were buried alive so they're not quite dead yet. But during their flashback we saw that they were con artists who killed a director for $8M in diamonds, so he's dead, but no major characters are dead. But the episode did have flashbacks with Boone, Shannon and Dr Artz *before Artz-to quote Charlie-exploded *Artz became parts..lol..sorry*. And Vincent found his way out of the jugle long enough to sniff at Nikkie and Paulo b4 Saywer buried them.

Nikki and Palo got buried alive, they were parallelized. Both of them got bitten by a poisonous spider. Long story, it was all about them.
PS: If those two are some how alive, I will never watch that show again.

Oh God that was so creepy when we realized they were merely Paralyzed and we knew Hurley and Sawyer were gonna bury them.
Oh, and Sun found out it was actually Charley and Sawyer who abducted Her from the Garden. They needed a distraction to get the guns. She was pissed!

well Paulo and Nikki were buried alive (everyone thought they were dead since they both got bitten by a spider that paralyzes you)...so you just assume they're dead now...
