This song is an oldie, and they dont play it too often.
Most of the song is spoken, except for the chorus, which I will explain in a moment.
When the guy is telling his "story" the background music is a happy little 6 note tune that is heard most of the song.

I could never really understand the lyrics in the chorus, but it sounds similar to
"Still my -- girl"
(-- is a 2 syllable word). I've tried everything when looking for this song.
"will not be my girl"
"with my favorite girl"
"will you be my girl"

I'm positive that "girl" is the last word, and that there is a pause after the first two words (1 2, 123)

Any help would be awesome.

I just realized, It also sounds like

spill wine, -something- Girl

That 6 note tune you hear that makes up the background while the guy is speaking is like some kind of funk organ
