I was at a party. This guy asked me if I wanted to dance with him & I did.After this we would have just gone back to our friends but no. I said im going to get a drink,when I was going to say nice meeting you bye he said I will come with you.I said sure, bc I didnt want to be rude. After I got a drink I thought he would go but no. I said I need some air thinking he would want to stay inside. No he said he would come outside with me. I still did not want to say no go away. We eneded up talking for over an hour & he kissed me. He was a nice guy & we exchanged numbers but after we talked on the phone I realized I didnt like him. He was nice in a friend way nothing more. I was trying to get away from him in the first place.It has been about 2 months. He txts and calls and says he wants to see me sometime. Either I say I cannot talk or I am busy . I feel bad but Im still scared to tell him i don't like him but we should be just friends. I can't drag this on any longer. What should I say?

If you're not interested, tell him. Guys hate nothing more than being strung along, even unintentionally, so best to end it as soon as possible.. it'll be the best for everyone.

It looks like you've been saying yes yes yes: dancing, getting a drink, going outside, kissing, talking, exchanging numbers. None of those things indicate that you're not interested.
Stop playing games and start telling him the truth. No tricks, no lies, no extravagant schemes like these idiots are suggesting. Open and honest communication is the best. Leading him on is rude- telling him the truth is not.
Girls always assume we know what they're thinking and they try to be subtle and it just doesn't work. More often than not, we turn out to be the bad guy for not reading minds.

Evry1 here seems to have the same answer...and they are all right.... being lead on by a girl is like the worst....guyz cant stand that....Just tell him that u dnt like him in that way....there is no way of avoiding this....his feelings will eventually get hurt....better sooner than later....and make sure wen u break him the news.....say his first name alot...dnt use nick names....it'll seem like ur still interested...and ummm wat else..talk fast...dont pause...say like this..."[his name] i really need 2 tell u something...i feel like u want something from this relationship that i dont....i really think ur a gr8 guy but i just dont feel ur the one 4 me.... i dont have the attracktion 4 u...that u have 4 me...and i dnt want 2 lead u on any longer...i realize that i am @ fault for letting this go on 4 so long but [his name], u deserve more...u deserve some1 who can love u and have affection for in the same way that u love and feel affection 4 them...and i cant give that 2 u....i dont feel like u do....and im so very sorry...i no its not easy 2 hear...but u need 2 understand now b4 u get 2 invovled with me...cuz there isnt anything here but friendship....."

Scared for what? If he seems as nice as you think then you have no reason to be scared. The guy might get hurt a little but he will get over it or just understand and still be your friend. Honesty and coming straight forward with how you feel is the best solution here. No sense in making yourself uncomfortable.

Gush to him about this friend (insert name here) that you really like, and ask his opinion on how to go about getting his attention, or some other random question like that. It puts down the awkwardness, and since there's no direct confrontation, there's no reason why you can't continue as friends.

you could just not call him and when he calls you tell him that youre busy and youl call him back when you have time, when he doesnt receive a call back, he'll get the point! if he doesnt then hes a total weirdo and you really need to stay away from him!!
