Used to happen to me all the time. That's why I don't watch the news anymore. When you're watching just to see one story, that should be a clue that the other 99% of the news is just crap.

yes, I hate when they do that...so now I don't wait anymore because the news channel has a website so I skip ahead and look on their site for the story I would have waited for
it's great now I can have news whenever I want it instead of having to wait all day for the usual time the news comes on tv

Yes I hate when that happens-or someone comes in the room talking when it finaly does come on and you miss hearing it away. It makes me crazy.
