ok i'm 14 and i havent had a period yet but i have noticide changes in my body for the last maybe 3 years(such as lots of pubic hair and breast growth) and i'm wondering if i'm going to start soon? or will it be a while and what are the symptoms before you start?of and i also started noticing stretch marks a week or 2 ago...

it sounds like you're close so don't worry, it will happen soon enough. theres no real way to know when exactly. some people experience what feels like a stomach ache, crabby mood, or just feeling bloated right before they start. when i first started, i know i had terrible cramps.
so don't stress too much, enjoy your last time of freedom!! (before you have to worry about wearing white pants or not having "supplies" with you)

Well I am 13, and I started my periods when I was 12. Some symptoms I started noticing were like constipation, cramps, and tender breasts. I guess stretch marks really dont matter. And everyone has their own time clock, so its ok, and nothing is wrong with you. Just keep on going with ur reg life. All the Best.

Many women don't actually start their periods until their later teens. A very, very few young women have a hymen that completely covers the vaginal opening, preventing blood from draining out as it should. This is something you can *gently* investigate for yourself to see if the passage is clear. Don't worry tooooooo much for a couple more years... :-)

you could get your period any time now because you have all the signs. a few days before you get your first period you may have some crazzzzy mood swings cuz your hormones are going to be out of control. you might get EXTREMELY grumpy or bitchy for no reason even if its out of character for you. the day you get your period you'll also probably feel a weird cramping in your lower abdomen. this means run to the bathroom and get a pad ready cuz your gonna start bleeding.

There are no symptoms, it will just show up one day. You might start soon because you're in the age but there's no set time- be glad you don't have it yet because it's a pain in the butt. Carry a sanitary pad w. you in case it happens away from home.

well u have started pubery but u will start ur period b4 u turn like 18 so dont worry about and be happy u dont have it yet

ok im a yr older than u so i guess u can say iv had mine...k for some women (girls) its different, i suggest goin in for a check up and ther really is no "Time" i guess u can call it but ur 14 so im guessing that it will be very soon.....uck good luck. not a great experience

Each girl starts at different ages and I personally don't recall any specific symptoms. It just happened, but was very minimal. Good luck and don't worry about it. Good luck.

You will probably just know. its different for every woman. youll probably start soon, but remember that some dont start till as old as 18

ok i now that your period will start soon but it wont hert you ok um all you have to do is thuk that nothing is going on with your body ok snd thstd all and is your vagina hair because if it is then you are going to have it earlyer so yah.
